Hi folks,
Many of you knew our dear horse friend named
Keenon. Keenon left this past fall to be retired to his new
home in Atlanta, Georgia where he was able to freely roam 10
acres of pasture land.
Unfortunately Keenon had an accident and
severely broke his back leg - to a point that there was no
saving him. The kindest thing was done and that was to put
him down.
Keenon spent many years with FEC sharing his
quizzical personality with many riders - beginning to
advanced. In his life with Family Equestrian Connection he
competed in an endurance ride, cliniced with Dressage
Clinician Charles DeKunffy, competed in many horse shows and
Gymkhana Games, and taught many, many little kids the joys
of riding.
Our hearts go out to Lisa and her family
who made the difficult decision to retire him to his new
home and to Sue who gave a him a new home to retire to
called Sanctuary Acres.
Please visit our memorial page to see some
wonderful stories about the lives that Keenon touched.
Hoping your memories of Keenon can
bring a smile to your face;
Family Equestrian Connection
